Supporters Kisses for Smiles On February 15, 2004, the Washington State Chapter completed a successful fund-raising event on with former University of Washington and Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Warren Moon. The Kisses for Smiles promotion was conducted at several Ram Breweries and Hooters restaurants in the Puget Sound area over a two-month period, with waitstaff selling buttons and stickers to benefit Operation Smile. At one of the Hooters restaurants, Moon and several Seahawks players and cheerleaders posed for photos with fans and signed autographs. In addition to the $30,000 raised, with the support of Warren Moon, Hooters & Ram Breweries, there has been a significant increase in the awareness of Operation Smile's mission in the area. After collecting pledges for each golf course played, they "swung their golf clubs" through Washington, Oregon, and California, gathering over $7000 on the charity's behalf.
